SHEA Water Passport
The Energy and Utility Skills Utility Safety, Health and Environmental Awareness (SHEA) Passport has been designed to provide a uniform approach to safety, health and environmental training within the water industry
There is a requirement from many water companies that workers who visit operational sites have this passport. The course covers these major areas:
- Sewerage network and process operations
- Common hazards in the workplace.
- Occupational health hazards
- Workplace responsibilities
- Identifying and controlling risks.
- Understanding the effects of our work on the environment
- Highway working and excavations
- Responding to emergencies
The SHEA Water Passport enables drainage operatives without CSCS cards to access and work on construction sites. Site inductions should still apply.
The duration of the course is one days at a cost per candidate of £380.00. (This includes the £30.00 NADC registration card fee applicable to candidates). The course venue is London. Candidates will undertake a multiple-choice question paper at the end of the day to test their understanding with each successful candidate receiving their card within 28 days of taking the course.
Please note, good verbal and written English skills are required for this course.
Further information on this training course and additional drainage industry training courses are available at the National Drainage Academy.
